Rideshare: Many PVWC members are not able to drive. Rideshare drivers participate in a one-hour training and are then notified of opportunities to drive community leaders when needed. Rides support PVWC worker members organizing for justice, and also support Lucio Perez and his family during this time in sanctuary. The community counts on this vital support. PVWC Court Accompaniment: Many PVWC immigrant members are fighting immigration cases and have regular ICE check-in appointments and court dates. Court Accompaniment volunteers provide support in these stressful times by attending the appointment or court date with immigrant community members. The Workers Center has received many requests recently for this solidarity support. Attend this one hour training and join the team.
