Department of Energy Resources (DOER) Smart Program Review

Where: UMass Amherst Campus Center, Amherst Room, 1 Campus Center Way, Amherst

What: State Representatives Natalie M. Blais, 1st Franklin, Mindy Domb, 3rd Hampshire, and State Senator Jo Comerford will host the Department of Energy Resources (DOER) in Amherst to present their review of the Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) Program and accept public comment on the new regulations. The SMART Program is established to support and incentivize the development of solar in Massachusetts. DOER recently completed its mandatory review of the program, and at the invitation of Representatives Natalie Blais and Mindy Domb, and Senator Jo Comerford members of DOER’s Renewable Energy Division will hold a stakeholder meeting in Amherst to present their findings and take public comment. Public comments can be submitted electronically to DOER.SMART@mass.gov, with the subject “400 MW Review Public Comments.” Comments should be submitted to DOER by Friday, September 20, 2019.
