Voter Registration and Letter Writing - Leverett

When: Sunday, September 8th, 4:00pm
Where:  RSVP for host's address in Leverett

What: In the 2020 presidential election, many people who agree with Democratic policies are not yet registered to vote. Swing Left is working to increase registration among unmarried women, people of color, and millennials in key states. Join us to help reach these likely-Democratic voters at a house party that will be stocked with drinks, snacks, and friendly volunteers. Please bring as many stamps as you can; the host would like to keep this event open to all regardless of circumstance, so if you are able please bring at least one 20 stamp book of 55 cent stamps. Volunteers will cover the cost of printing and envelopes. Our partners at Voter Participation Center have found an increase of 4.3% in registrations and 1.6% in voting through letter-writing campaigns. With elections determined by razor-thin margins in key states, these efforts may mean the difference between victory and defeat.

RSVP and join us as we build the good government we want and deserve!
